Gatherings of Consolation presents the results of the initial research phase of a project that brings together South American poetry by Piedad Bonnett and María Mercedes Carranza with embodied dance memories from the South American diaspora in Germany. Poetry and movement enrich one another as dance, voice, scenography, and audience interaction enter into dialogue. Visitors are invited to sit, read, and move together in a shared exercise that builds a bridge between social and artistic forms of expression.

Santiago Mariño is a Colombian contemporary dance artist whose practice spans performance, dance, teaching, choreography, and production. He holds an MA in Choreography and Performance from the Institute for Applied Theatre Studies at Justus Liebig University Giessen and a BA in Performing Arts with a concentration in Dance from Universidad Distrital in Bogotá, Colombia. Since 2014, he has pursued parallel careers as a dancer and educator, collaborating with companies and choreographers in Colombia, France, and Germany. He has toured extensively throughout South America and Europe, performing at festivals including the Biarritz Dance Festival (France), Dance Days Chania (Greece), PUF International Theatre Festival (Croatia), ImpulsTanz Vienna, and the ATLAS Performing Arts Market in the Canary Islands. His choreographic work takes an interdisciplinary approach, combining different performative languages with other artistic disciplines while centering the dancing body from an intersectional, queer Latinx diaspora perspective. He explores the possibilities of aesthetic expression and participatory community-making through the performing arts, investigating dance as both an artistic and a social practice. His work in Colombia and Germany has been co-produced by institutions including Künstler*innenhaus Mousonturm.

she-zoo/schizo/ШIЗА explores what happens to the body when violence becomes imaginable. Drawing on testimonies and lived experiences of Belarusian political prisoners, the work asks: How does the female body survive when the space in which it is kept denies it? How can the experiences of imprisonment be translated into the movement? A choreographic and sonic investigation into the bodies of the imprisoned and those who fear becoming one.

Hanna Launikovich is a Belarusian-born performance and sound artist based in Frankfurt am Main. She holds an MA in Choreography and Performance from the Institute for Applied Theatre Studies at Justus Liebig University Giessen. Since 2018, her practice has focused on interdisciplinary documentary methods situated between sound, performance, and the unclassifiable. Her work addresses themes such as trauma, nostalgia, and isolation through immersive sound environments, field recordings, vocal improvisation, lo-fi textures, and performance scores. For Launikovich, sound is not merely an accompaniment. Working at the intersection of composition and improvisation, archive and immediacy, she investigates how sound performs memory and how memory, in turn, is performed through sound. Since 2023, she has composed music for theater productions, performed in them, and integrated sound into her own performances and multidisciplinary artistic projects. Her work has been presented in Germany, Italy, Denmark, Switzerland, Poland, and Estonia.

Trickster-Rauschen is a choreographic research about what happens when a digital strategy that sabotages extractivist AI practices enters the room. DIY sound machines, pedestrian phrases and voice become the materials of a practice that is as much about listening and moving as it is about invisibility and resistance. Ida Daniel works across choreography and performance, moving fluidly between the roles of performer, dramaturg, writer, and curator. This enables her to continually investigate artistic working conditions and alternative ways of being together as fundamental aspects of artistic production, weaving together the experiences of everyone involved. Influenced by intersectional feminism and critical posthumanism, her recent work includes co-hosting the Imaginative Choreographic Centre (2022–ongoing), co-artistic direction of Frankfurt's independent performing arts festival Implantieren (2023–24), the durational performance Unlived Lives. The Reenactment (2025, Austin TX, Frankfurt LAB, TNT Marburg), and G/Hosting (2025, La Caldera, Barcelona; Toplocentrala, Sofia). She graduated from the MA program in Choreography and Performance at Justus Liebig University Giessen. She is a member of LaProf and ID_Frankfurt and served on the jury of the Impulse Festival in 2025 and 2026.

Todor Stoyanov is a freelance artist and new media specialist focusing on innovative and experimental approaches to theater and music. As a technical artist, he works with emerging technologies including game engines, VR, AR, XR, and AI to create projects that merge computer-generated content with live performance. Working both independently and collaboratively, he develops performances, theater productions, installations, experimental workshops, concerts, and exhibitions. Since relocating to Germany in 2015, he has worked on artistic projects between Frankfurt and Berlin, collaborating with institutions including Mousonturm Frankfurt and Sophiensaele Berlin. His diverse body of work includes Suspicious Lifeforms; Kitchen-ing Questions and Unlived Lives. The Reenactment with Ida Daniel; and wabe[]ost and Muskeln mit drei Frauen by Caroline Creutzburg.
