local dancing invites you online to dance local dances for pleasure and accompanied by live keyboard music. There is, for example, the Leg Swing Dance, the Exquisite Dance, the 5-5-5-5 Dance, the Summertime Sadness Dance, the Skeleton Dance, the Bird Dance, and the Lazy Dance. Using queer lore and specially invented instant tradition, we imagine popular group dances that may have traveled through time and now appear non-binary and unpaired. Without national ties, the dances pretend to be local wherever they are. They give us reason to come together and be held in the repetition and routine of a circular choreography.
