Dear dance enthusiasts! In September, I will be teaching a workshop in Frankfurt am Main and would love to invite you to join: Contemporary Dance/Floorwork Workshop in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen on September 12–13, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM each day.

This workshop offers an insight into my dance technique—originally developed in the 1990s to prepare my dance company for the creative process. It has influenced both the aesthetic evolution of contemporary dance and pedagogical approaches to teaching it, standing as a defining movement concept for a generation of dancers and dance educators. The focus lies on the organic connection between body, space, and gravity. The work follows a clear principle of progression: moving from the simple to the complex, from the floor to a standing position, and from fundamental movement patterns to sophisticated movement sequences.

Drawing inspiration from natural developmental processes, this approach opens up new ways to explore movement quality, efficient flow, presence, and artistic expression.
