Flur invites you to a performance evening as part of the Rocococultism exhibition. The artist Sebastián González de Gortari performs a transformation ritual and takes the audience into a world centered around the fictional character Mañon. Dominik Keggenhof presents a musical performance. Texture, rhythm and aspects of illusionism and ritual will form the common thread and at the same time create a parallel to the works of Sebastián González de Gortari.

As part of the exhibition opening “Rocococultism” a performance evening will take place Performance by Sebastián González de Gortari 19:30h (Performance in english) In a ritual performance, the artist activates his installation Yes He is Coming Here and He Waits for You, Please Make it Good and transforms it into a new state. The artist performs a transformation ritual for the fictitious figure Mañon, whom he treats alternately as a child, a lover, a hideous creature, a cruel master or a stupid bundle. The audience is integrated into the performative setting by holding an egg yolk (Mañon's heart) in their hands. Afterwards they can wash the yolk off, but they are intertwined with Mañon through the ritual involvement and can meet him again in their dreams or in a dark corner of their apartment. Performance by Dominik Keggenhof 20:15h The artist presents a musical performance. Texture, rhythm and aspects of the illusionistic, as well as the ritual, represent the common thread and at the same time parallel to the works of Sebastián González de Gortari.
