This workshop is aimed at anyone interested in dance and offers the opportunity to expand the artistic skills of the dancers and to grow both individually and as a group in a creative and stimulating environment. Max number of 50 participants.

Workshops and guest performance as part of the INTERNATIONAL LIVE TOUR 2024 by AlphaZTL Compagnia d'Arte Dinamica Manipulation, control and subjugation are the central themes of the award-winning works "Shut up!" and "Toxic Love" by up-and-coming Italian choreographer Francesco Biasi. Produced by AlphaZTL Compagnia d'Arte Dinamica from Brindisi, Italy, they use impressive dance performances to tell stories of people who are constantly fighting against abuse and weakness; of the unfulfilled desire for strength and to feel understood and the diverse, multi-layered and complex relationship dynamics of our time.
On Saturday, 07.09.2024 we invite you to get to know the work of AlphaZTL on a practical level as part of a workshop offer from 16:00 - 18:00.
Participants: Anyone who is interested in dance In this workshop we will focus intensively on the following aspects:
1. dynamics: we will explore how to modulate body movement and energy in space by exploring variations in speed, intensity and fluidity to create engaging and diverse performances.
2. combinations: We will dive into complex movement sequences and learn to integrate them into fluid and harmonious sequences. This will improve our coordination and strengthen our ability to execute challenging choreographies.
3. energy: we analyze how to channel and manage personal and collective energy during performances to increase expressiveness and stage presence.
4. theatricality: We work on interpretation and the ability to convey emotions through body and movement. With the help of theater pedagogy exercises, we will improve our storytelling skills and connection to the audience.
5. contact dance: We will explore the techniques of contact improvisation, a dance form based on physical interaction and contact between dancers. This practice will help us to develop better body awareness and create authentic connections with our dance partners.
This workshop offers the opportunity to expand the dancers' artistic skills and to grow both individually and as a group in a creative and stimulating environment.
The performances SHUT UP! & TOXIC LOVE will then be presented from 20:00. Artist talk afterwards.
