Further information regarding accessibility
We consider it important to make dance accessible to everyone! Whatever the matter, feel free to send us a message if you have any concerns or need special assistance.

As part of the "DanceAbility - Training Courses on Inclusive Dance" project, we want to contribute to making dance and its positive and healing effects accessible to everyone. Together with our partner organizations, Popolomondo from Portugal, Meet Share Dance from Spain, and the local support of Reclaiming Dance, we have developed a comprehensive training program with nine intensive weekends on inclusive dance practice. In the modules, interested parties will learn exercises and methods for working with inclusive groups in a body-based way, where teachers and students with and without disabilities are equally welcome. The aim is to promote an inclusive approach to dance that considers all participants' individual needs and abilities by redefining dance and making everyone a dancer. In each participating country, three training modules will be offered in which experts from abroad will share their theoretical and practical knowledge in an intensive weekend course. Each module starts with an open dance evening to get to know each other and warm up before we delve deeper into the subject matter. Participation in the intensive training sessions is certified and is donation-based, thanks to the support of the European Commission. The language of instruction is English with German translation. Whether you want to lead inclusive groups yourself in the future, apply your knowledge in your professional or private life or want to have wonderful dance experiences for yourself, we look forward to welcoming you! Co-funded by the European Union
