HUGS is a quiet and moving exploration of touch, tenderness, and the delicate boundaries of closeness.
Three dancers remain in an ongoing embrace, unfolding a choreography that lingers between comfort and tension, presence and vulnerability. Through this simple yet profound gesture, the piece reveals the gentleness, contradictions, and complexity of intimacy. Each evening offers a soft and respectful journey into themes of consent, care, and safe encounters. There is no spectacle of pain — only presence, attentiveness, and an invitation to be together.
After every performance, choreographer Marion Plantey and the team invite the audience into an open conversation, sharing reflections, methods, and welcoming curiosity.
With HUGS, we create a cultural practice rooted in care, one that grows from listening and tenderness.
