The training offers various approaches to developing your own movement repertoire. Michelle DiMeo allows participants to become aware of their own movement habits and patterns, questioning them while expanding their physical potential. By integrating principles derived from different somatic practices and guided improvisational scores, participants will explore various ways of connecting to space, to ourselves and to each other. As the class progresses, some simple movement sequences will be learned with the aim of creating clear anatomical awareness and promoting joint and spinal mobility. ALL are welcome in this class, regardless of their level of experience with movement and dance. Please be prepared for some ground level movements.

Michelle DiMeo studied Dance at the University of WI-Milwaukee. After graduating she continued her training in workshops and further education in USA and in Europe. She worked as a freelancer in the Midwest and elsewhere, where she was support from Debra Loewen and Simone Ferro. Michelle's interest in somatic practices and healing eventually led her to Pilates. She is a fully certified STOTT Pilates instructor. Michelle later completed her MA in Contemporary Dance Education (MA CoDE) at the HfMDK in Frankfurt am Main. She currently lives in Frankfurt where she works as a dance and movement teacher and research assistant.
